Project Title :
The project’s goal was to improve the environment for studying as well as the school results for school children in the Soum province through access to autonomous energy sources. Three students from the École polytechnique de Montréal PARTICIPATED and installed photovoltaic modules in three primary schools in the region. Access to energy allowed for ventilation and lighting of the classes, thus prolonging the number of study hours. As a result, access to energy has improved the living conditions of both teachers and students, whose performance is improving with time.
