The project was part of an education and commitment campaign on international solidarity. It informed the public on how a limited access to resources such as water, arable land, etc. can be a threat to peace and security in the world. In addition to ethnic conflicts/rivalries caused by a limited access to natural resources, thousands of individuals are losing their means of subsistence, primarily in areas where climate change is acutely felt. Following this project, many persons indicated that they were committed to supporting ACTION by Quebec organizations that promote international cooperation.
